RumyFriend Jr App Terms

Games-only iOS and Android releases, version 1.1.0 · Version 2026-10-10

RumyFriend LLC operates RumyFriend Jr, a games app intended for children aged 4–12. These Terms cover the games-only iOS and Android app. Parents and guardians should review them with their child. They are separate from the terms for the RumyFriend app for ages 13+ and the account-based web service and earlier account-based test releases.

1. Guest play

The app opens to eleven games without creating an account: Balance ’Em, Bounce ’Em, Build ’Em, Clear ’Em, Color ’Em, Dog ’Em, Find ’Em, Match ’Em, Pair ’Em, Rally ’Em and Tap ’Em. Games need an internet connection.

This release has no Friends list, private messaging, personal-photo profile, Meet or location-search features. It has no memberships, paid bookings or in-app purchases.

2. Nicknames and playing with others

In iOS build 79 and Android version code 8, the app uses the generic player label “Player” and turns off personal-name entry. Earlier test builds may have allowed nicknames; cached game credentials and earlier game-service records may still contain those names. When using an earlier build, use a nickname rather than a child’s full name, school, address, email address or phone number.

Some games have multiplayer rooms and public leaderboards. Other players may include adults. Player labels, game contributions and scores can be visible to others. Public leaderboard data can include guest identifiers outside the current room. Playing together does not create an app friendship or enable a private app conversation.

3. Rules for play

Harassment, bullying, threats, hate, impersonation, scams, sexual content, grooming, encouragement of self-harm and attempts to bypass protections for children are prohibited. Do not ask a child to keep contact secret or move a conversation outside the service. Do not interfere with games or misuse another player’s information.

We may restrict inappropriate names, content or use of the service, and preserve or report information where the law requires it. If a player name or interaction concerns you, contact contact@rumyfriendjr.com with the game name and approximate time. Do not send a password or a child’s photograph. RumyFriend Jr is not an emergency service. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.

4. Privacy and parent requests

Guest play still uses identifiers and game information. The App Privacy notice explains guest identity, game services, public leaderboards, usage records and diagnostics. A question before an external link opens is a parent gate for that link; it does not verify a parent’s identity or record consent to collect a child’s information.

A parent can request access, correction, deletion or information about stopping collection through Delete your data or contact@rumyfriendjr.com. Removing local app or browser data does not delete records held by a game service. Contact us about the scope and status of a request, including records from an earlier test release.

5. Ordinary personal use and changes

The app and game content are provided for ordinary personal play. Do not copy or redistribute protected content without permission. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be removed or transfers our legal duties to a parent or child.

If the app’s features or information practices change, the corresponding Terms and privacy notice will be updated.
